Sedona Heritage Museum

The Sedona Heritage Museum is located at 735 Jordan Road in Sedona, Arizona, and is situated in the City of Sedona’s Jordan Historical Park, a 4.8 acre oasis in Uptown Sedona.

The museum preserves and shares the stories of the people and events which have shaped the Sedona community, with regular exhibits highlighting Early Settlers, Ranching & Cowboys, the Orchard Industry, movies made in Sedona, and Sedona Schnebly, the town’s namesake.

The museum is housed in the original Jordan family farmstead and contains exhibits of the history of the greater Sedona area, as well as some of the original Jordan furnishings and personal belongings. The Jordan family’s red rock home, primitive tractor shed, and large fruit packing shed are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Visitors can explore the historic themes and stories of the people who contributed to Sedona’s rich and unique history, and enjoy regular history-themed programs and special events throughout the year. The museum also offers a research library, open to the public by appointment only, for genealogy or personal or professional research.

The museum grounds include a memorial orchard, bronze sculptures, paths, and picnic tables, making it a enjoyable destination for visitors, picnickers, and neighborhood residents.
